What is crossfit?

The best way to describe crossfit is… it works. It’s challenging, rewarding, competitive, exhausting, exhilerating, fun, and hard!

Here is an oldy but goody youtube video that help explain and show you crossfit in a nutshell.

And they have these pretty crazy competitions each year that test the best of the best in this crazy sport called fitness! They are the crossfit games. Held each year for the past 5 or 6 years I think. Remember when you were a kid in elementry school and each year they would have fitness tests, like how far can you jump, how many sit ups you can do, how long you can hold your chin up to the bar? Well fast forward 20 years and now it’s a crazy, intense, insane, sport!

Okay, that should explain it!

Before: Thank you bread, pasta, and rice. You are my thigh’s worst enemy.

During: Thank you back squats, front squats, and deadlifts. You are my butt’s best friend.

After: give me another 6 months….
